Sheila Hennessey – Cranial Sacral Specialist – Licensed Massage Therapist – Parker Office
Cranial sacral is gentle touch therapy that encourages relaxation by holding specific points on the body that encourage the nervous system to return to a calm and neutral place. The body inherently knows how to balance and heal itself and this can occur when the body is relaxed. Treatment goals include relaxation, decrease of pain, improved body awareness, decreased anxiety, clarity of mind while creating balance within the body.
My clients often experience subtle twinges or a tingling sensation. Sometimes, clients who have held on to trauma will experience an emotional release, which would be considered a deep healing.
Cranial sacral is an effective adjunct to traditional massage therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic. It can be used to assist clients with trauma, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, PTSD, sinus congestion, and anxiety.
Please contact the office to schedule your appointment with any of the talented licensed massage therapists at our Parker wellness center.
