Andrew met his beautiful wife while attending the University of Wyoming, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He had the opportunity to run & track and field at the University of Wyoming while he attended school. He ran the 110-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles and was a member of the 4×400 meter relay team. Participating in a wide spectrum of sports at the collegiate and high school level has given him the passion and understanding to treat athletes at all levels.
Andrew grew up in the foothills of the Tetons in the small community of Afton, Wyoming. He took advantage of every opportunity to be outside hiking, backpacking, camping both during summer and in the winter. He was an extremely active kid playing soccer, baseball, and basketball. While in high school, he played football, basketball, and ran track and field earning multiple All-State honors in each sport. He was awarded the Milward Simpson award, an award that recognizes 5 athletes, regardless of school class, as the best 5 athletes in the state.
After graduating high school, Andrew served a 2-year church ministering and service mission in the state of Michigan. He spent his time teaching Christian messages and offering service. Alexandra and Andrew welcomed their wonderful daughter Brooke into the world 4 years later while attending chiropractic school in Portland. In 2017, they welcomed a new baby boy into their family.
It is Andrew’s personal goal to bring the healing powers of chiropractic to as many people as possible. As a growing boy in middle school, Andrew hit a big growth spurt. As a result, he experienced upper back pain that was keeping him from participating in any physical activity. After a few visits to the chiropractor, the pain was gone! That same chiropractor played an influential role in Andrew’s life as he would adjust all the varsity athletes before their game. He learned first hand that chiropractic is not only for helping people get out of pain but to help you function optimally. Today many athletes of all abilities rely on chiropractic care to help them perform at the highest level.
